Christopher Owens, known for previously fronting San Francisco act Girls is to give the first play of his solo album in full with a series of live shows.
The album “Lysandre” is to be released on January 15th via Fat Possum/Turnstile
“It’s a coming of age story, a road trip story, a love story,” Owens described the record for FADER. “It’s a moment in time that has been captured and brought to life through art.”
This will be Owens first foray since announcing his decision to leave Girls in July.
